POSITION SUMMARY

As Human Resources Generalist, you will assist the Human Resources Director in providing a proactive and supportive Human Resources service. You will ensure that the HR department is approachable, helpful and meets the needs of our “customers” at all times. You will be in charge of the general organization of the Human Resources department

Briefly:
1. Together with the Human Resources Director, you are in charge of the entire Human Resources process of all associates.
2. You facilitate / support the recruitment process. You undertake all necessary recruitment activity to ensure that all positions are filled in, in a minimum of time.
3. You ensure that all associate files are completed up to standards and meet legal requirements.
4. You provide all necessary information to the Payroll Consultant. Manage the sick leave policy in conjunction with the Head of Departments. Log all sick leave and other absences and provide information to Head of Departments on levels of sick leave. Take a pro-active role in cases of extended or repeated absence.
5. Manage all monthly reports for the Finance Department
6. You are the key person to be contacted by Interim Offices, insurance companies, etc.
7. You will take care of the recruitment and follow up of all associates, trainees, student and occasional workers.
8. Together with the Human Resources Director you will plan and organize social activities for the staff and actively participate in the “Take Care” program of Marriott International.

9. You have an education or experience in the Hospitality industry or in Human Resources administration;
10. You have proficient knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.;
11. You are creative and willing to create a movement in the hospitality industry;
12. You are proactive, can work independently and you have a high attention to details;
13. You master the English and French or Dutch language both in written and verbal;
14. You are customer service orientated: Your smile is important to us and to our guests.
