Position Title: Senior Customer Engineering – Systems Engineering (São José dos Campos, Brazil) – 100% onsite.
Role Summary: The Senior Customer Engineering will join the Systems Engineering team as a Customer Engineer to develop features focusing on the Flight Operations (Avionics) environment, ensuring alignment across functional groups and delivering value to aircraft purchasers.
Position Responsibilities
* Collaborate with Airplane Development, Product Development and Airplane Programs to align feature development with BCA strategies across the BCA product line.
* Lead integration and alignment of feature strategy development and offerability on all Airplane Programs.
* Develop and manage configuration tools, feature strategies and offering structures to enable airplane configuration definition.
* Utilize customer knowledge, data analytics, regulatory, in‑service and production insight and industry trends to ensure feature offerings provide customer and Boeing value, and communicate significant configuration change information to Customers and Customer Engineering Account Managers.
* Provide programs, customers and configuration teams with feature strategy, customer and industry knowledge, airplane configuration data and feature product information.
* Contribute to technical advancements that result in increased market share and profit for Boeing.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
* Legal authorization to work in Brazil.
* Degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or other higher technical engineering education).
* Registration or eligibility to register with CREA (Counselor Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia).
* Proficiency in verbal and written English.
* Deep knowledge of Flight Deck/Operations (Avionics) environment.
Preferred Qualifications
* Customer or supplier‑facing experience.
* Experience in developing airplane features.
