Role: Senior Modern Packaging Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement Microsoft SCCM/Intune packages of varying complexity, compliant with company requirements;
Manage the package lifecycle (updates, retirement, and deletion);
Perform validation tests to ensure package compatibility and stability;
Monitor and control the deployment of developed packages, ensuring they are successfully implemented on the organization's devices;
Diagnose and troubleshoot package deployment failures, identifying root causes and implementing effective resolutions;
Maintain and update existing packages;
Document all aspects of configuration, migration, deployment, and troubleshooting processes, creating comprehensive and up-to-date documentation;
Actively participate in projects related to the Digital Workplace Factory;
Manage the Intune component (handling third-line requests and incidents, enhancements, etc.).
More specifically, extensive expertise and experience are expected in order to be comfortable with packaging and testing via custom installers using Adminstudio/InstallShield, automating software installations and updates via App Deploy Toolkit/PowerShell, and managing versions and publishing in the cloud (Intune).
The packaging work will be done for two distinct environments: one on-premises (SCCM only) (approximately 25%) and the other for workstations managed in the full cloud (Intune only) (approximately 75%). You will be working in a complex environment with over 7,000 devices and over 3,000 users, and will be integrated into the Factory Digital Workplace, a team of 12 people.
A minimum of 5 years of proven expertise in packaging is also expected.
REQUIRED PROFILE:
Minimum 5 years of experience in packaging
Proficiency in SCCM/Intune and Adminstudio/InstallShield
Proficiency in GitHub App DeployToolkit/PowerShell
Proficiency in Microsoft Orca, Tuner, and MSIDiff.
Proficient in VMware Workstation
Proficient in Windows 10 and 11
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Ability to create complex PowerShell scripts
Advanced troubleshooting skills
Strong organizational skills to effectively manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent autonomy and ability to work independently, taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.
Experience in ITSM processes
You will be required to have at least 1 year of proven experience in an environment with at least 1000 users
