Your job is to manage the strategy, growth, and operational excellence the security and networking portfolio. We are merging two teams and we need a people leader, a people manager, someone who want/likes to do this and who can lead, show the way, set targets and strategy but also someone who knows the market intimately and what/where the network and security teams will focus on, what market segments, what clients and why, where is the growth, where is the opportunity.
Both network and security are fast pace change areas so someone who lives and breathes this and who enjoys it.
Senior role
MUST be fluent FLEMISH.
MUST have software integration background.

We seek both a business developer but also a manager. More weight on the leader / manager but sales and BD is key.
Motivate set, set targets, create good environment.
Security / networking knowledge needed but Solution Architects in house will be your go to if you need deep dive skills.
This is about Growth and stability, leading the team and getting the ship to sail in the right direction.

Your profile
* You are an entrepreneurial and strategic leader who demonstrates ownership and inspires your team.
* You bring a proven track record: at least 10 years of experience in security and networking, plus 7 years as a senior manager.
* You communicate excellently and have strong stakeholder management skills.
* Knowledge of financial management and resource management is essential.
* You are fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
* You are a creative and innovative thinker at master’s level with experience in security & networking technologies and architecture.
* You are familiar with vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Microsoft, ...

This position bridges business, technology, and customer needs, with a focus on innovation, performance, and sustainable growth. You will be responsible for the end-to-end performance of the business line — from go-to-market strategy and vendor partnerships to solution development and contribution margin. In short, as Business Line Lead, you are accountable for the success of your department and the organization as a whole.
Your tasks and responsibilities
* You are responsible for setting the course of the Security & Networking business, determining the strategy and team development.
* You monitor market trends, maintain contact with clients and prospects, and translate strategic goals into operational plans.
* You develop KPIs in financial, commercial, and operational areas and provide reporting and coaching of team members.
* You manage stakeholder relations and collaborate with external parties such as vendors and customers, and internally with support services such as HR, marketing, finance, and internal IT, as well as C-level and the board of directors.
* You oversee financial management, including P&L, budgeting, pricing strategy, and contribution margin, with a focus on both short- and long-term value creation.
* As operational leader, you ensure the right talent is in the right place within the business line, motivating team members ranging from support engineers to experts and middle managers.
* You continuously work on operational efficiency.
* You are closely involved in commercial activities, follow projects from the sales leader to gain insights into go-to-market strategies, and you are also technologically responsible.
