As an IT Solutions Engineer, you help keep our digital processes running smoothly while supporting improvements across our applications. You provide both functional and technical support for several business-critical systems, working closely with application owners, business users and external partners. You will work in a hybrid setup from our site in Wilrijk and report to the Team Manager Manufacturing/Sourcing Solutions.
In this role, you handle incidents in a structured way, look into root causes and help put preventive measures in place. You ensure stable processes, contribute to long-term improvements and keep your documentation clear and accessible. You collaborate actively with colleagues and suppliers to solve issues and support ongoing enhancements. As an IT Solutions Engineer, you balance daily operational support with the chance to work on smaller projects and optimizations that make a visible difference.

1. Initial experience in IT support, application management or software development
2. Analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented mindset
3. Knowledge of tools such as ServiceNow, Jira or Azure DevOps
4. Affinity with cloud platforms and business applications
5. Technical knowledge of application frameworks, SQL and cloud environments
6. Familiarity with ITIL or similar service management frameworks is an asset
