We are supporting a large international manufacturing company in West Flanders with a strong industrial and technology-driven environment.
The finance team is expanding to strengthen cost control, monthly performance reporting, and support ongoing digital improvements in controlling.
This is a hands-on role working closely with operations, production, and supply chain, focused on understanding what drives unit cost and overall plant performance.
The Role
You will take ownership of cost analysis and support month-end closing activities, ensuring accurate visibility on production costs and unit prices. You will work closely with operational teams to explain variances and improve cost understanding across the plant.
What you will focus on
* Understanding and analysing unit costs and cost deviations
* Supporting monthly closing and reporting cycles
* Performing cost and variance analysis (price, usage, efficiency, absorption)
* Working in SAP to maintain accurate cost and production data
* Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
* Working with large datasets and improving reporting quality
* Contributing to better automation and reporting processes
What we are looking for
* Ideally a track record within a similar function but xphnsxz the employer would be accepting graduates
* Strong understanding of unit cost / standard costing
* Hands-on experience with month-end closing activities
* Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tools)
* Power BI knowledge is a strong plus
* Strong IT mindset with interest in automation, AI, and digital tools
* Fluent in Dutch and English (must have)
* Comfortable working in a large, structured organisation with multiple stakeholders
