ACCOUNTABILITIES & AUTHORITIES:
12. Key accountabilities:
13. Contribute to the elaboration of the software specification & architecture, in collaboration with the software architect
14. Develop software components: Perform the software components detailed design & coding Set up the software development tool chain Specify, design, prepare and perform tests and verifications of his / her deliverables Put software work products under configuration management Support software / software integration, together with the other software designers Support hardware / software integration, together with the hardware designers
15. Sustain the software
16. Keep informed of the evolution of technologies through techno watch
17. Contribute to standardization by reusing existing solutions or by implementing reusable solutions, including COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf)
18. Apply processes and standards
19. Contribute to continuous improvement (RoE: Return on Experience, process, …)
20. If Software Development Manager (optional) Produce and follow up the WP (Work Package) file (QCD commitments) for the whole software development Define the management plans for software development (by customizing and completing internal templates if any): Define the software project management plan Contribute to the definition of the software engineering management plan together with the software architect
21. Contribute to the definition of the software verification and validation plan together with the software architect and the V&V architect Contribute to the definition of the software configuration management plan together with the configuration manager
22. Contribute to the definition of the software quality plan together with the quality manager
23. Organize the software Design Reviews
24. Organize and lead software development activities so that to ensure QCD commitment, till the end of software development: Coordinate software development activities (software design - including activities performed by LLCC or subcontractors) Participate to the product CCB (Change Control Board) for software part ( manage commitment and change to software requirements) Alert the reporting structure for any event that could impact software development QCD commitments
25. Establish the consolidated reporting on his/her WP
26. Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.
