Description of the Taks:Following tasks will be performed by external service provider:Propose and document the architecture for the future Talent Pool, in alignment with the technical constraints of reuse of existing components and building blocksEnsure alignment between the business needs and the architecture of the solution, through documentation, presentations and workshops with the relevant stakeholdersReview all technical analysis performed by the IT external development company, support the Project manager on the decisions to take, and provide feedback on the estimatesReview the proposals of client for synergies with other IT systems, and make proposals of architectureSupport the Project Manager in all decisions related to IT developments and change of architectureRisk and issue analysis, propose mitigation pathsInteraction with other architects, business analysts, business owners, project manager, external development company
Knowledge and Skills:Following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:Extensive experience of IT developments and IT architectureAbility to communicate orally and in written in a clear and efficient mannerAbility to draft, improve and document architecture decisions, propose several solutions with pros, cons and risksExcellent team spiritAbility to apply high quality standardsAbility to model diagrams in UML standardsVery good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiencesAnalysis and problem solving skillsCapability to write clear and structured technical documents
Specific Experitise:Following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:At least 10 years of specific expertise in Java developmentAt least 5 years of specific expertise in Knowledge in UML modelling (diagrams)At least 5 years of specific expertise in Knowledge of EC corporate components of architecture (EU Login, EU Send, ...)Service deliveryThe services shall be performed remotely in Near-site location allowing to reach the Client premises in Brussels within 2 hours.Onsite presence is requested at least one day per week.
