senior payroll professiona
l. In other words, we're looking for a senior payroll expert who is ready to (1) mentor other consultants and (2) execute various projects for our clients.
As a payroll connoisseur, you understand that payroll is ever-evolving, and you know the importance o
f continuously expanding your experti
se to stay at the top of your field. Your knowledge will grow as you work on diverse projects across various sectors and companies. You'll integrate into the HR department of one of our clients for several months, where you'll focus o
n driving improvements, optimizing processes, and actively contributing to key projects.
Defining your exact tasks can be challenging since they vary depending on the project. However, here's a glimpse of what you can expect:
* Manage
the entire payroll process
, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
* Interpret
labor laws and tax regulations
, ensuring full compliance with evolving legal standards.
* Resolve
complex payroll issues
, including discrepancies, tax challenges, and compliance audits.
* Supervise and train payroll colleagues
, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
* Contribute
to strategic initiatives
, such as process optimization, cost management, and implementing new payroll systems or policies.
In addition to your client projects, we're seeking someone who is eager to mentor and train our junior payroll consultants. Specifically, you'll be responsible for delivering training sessions and educating them on key topics, such as new regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Job requirements
* You have at least a
5 years experience in the field of payroll
and/or compensation & benefits.
* You have full professional proficiency in
Dutch
, and you have complete mastery of English and/or French.
