Technical Account Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Account Manager to join our team. As a key contact for clients, you will be responsible for developing and managing strong relationships with project engineers, R&D teams, and purchasing departments.
* You will translate customer needs into technical solutions in collaboration with our internal engineering department.
* You will handle a portfolio of around 30–40 key accounts and ensure long-term partnerships.
* You will dedicate approximately 30% of your time to developing new business and identifying market opportunities.
* You will regularly visit clients across the region and attend trade fairs, client meetings, and occasional international events.
Your Profile:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
* Good understanding of mechanical physics (load, force, torque, speed).
* Basic knowledge of electrical concepts (voltage, current) and industrial control systems (PLCs, encoders, servo motors) is an asset.
* Proven experience in technical sales, preferably with mechanical or automation components.
* Strong interpersonal and consultative skills — you enjoy working closely with clients to build long-term solutions.
* Fluent in Dutch and English. Any other language is an asset.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office.
* Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset, able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
