QLM Search is partnering a leading specialist Flavor and B2B Ingredients group with the hire of a newly created position. Supporting both the Senior VP for Product/RD and the VP Global Sales, the position will be responsible for the comprehensive management and strategic direction of a specialist category and work hand-in-hand with the global teams across RD, applications, Sales and Marketing.Key responsibilities include:Business Planning Global strategy – “where to play / how to win” in a specific Savoury category, driving vision with expectationsPartner all areas of the business (RD/Sales/Marketing) to achieve growth in this category with market analysis – trends, needsWork closely with customers and sales teams to drive collaboration and growth partnershipsMonitor sales, applications, analysis in the category groups vs agreed business plansInnovation and Development: Work closely with RD and technical teams to drive innovation and develop products that meet emerging trends and fill market gaps.Provide technical support through Sales training across the business unitsCandidates must have come from either a B2C/CPG Food group or a B2B Ingredients / Flavor group where your experience is deep rooted in a specific category – Sauce. Your background will either be RD/Sales or Marketing where you can combine your category knowledge to pivot and support the 3 core teams (Sales/Marketing/RD). Its imperative to be able to evidence your experience in the Sauce (and/or dressings) sector as well as your ability to cross the business units leadership teams, as well as customer teams in Procurement, and applications.
