For one of our clients in the region of Ostend, we are currently looking for an Onsite Support Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing prompt and effective technical support using Omnitracker and ensuring smooth resolution, ticket capturing, and dispatching to the appropriate support lines.
What will you do?
* Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to end users (onsite only)
* Handle incidents, requests, and issues using Omnitracker
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems
* Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate teams (catch and dispatch)
* Log and document all support activities in the ticketing system
* Ensure timely follow up and communication with users / conduct trainings if needed
* Maintain high standards of customer service and technical assistance
What you bring to the team
* Proven experience in a Helpdesk/IT Support role (1st & 2nd line)
* Ideally knowledge of Omnitracker or similar ITSM tools
* Comfortable working 100% onsite in Ostend/Ieper (no remote work possible)
* Fluent in Dutch, French, and English
* Good understanding of Windows environments, user management, and networking basics
