We are seeking a seasoned Service Manager to oversee the design, implementation, and management of Software Defined Networking (SDN) services with a strong focus on micro-segmentation.
About the Role
The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in micro-segmentation, defining, documenting, monitoring, and improving policies and delivery processes. They will ensure this security-centric service is fully aligned with DIGIT's operational, security, and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end delivery of SDN services with micro-segmentation as a core component.
* Design and document micro-segmentation policies, workflows, and service definitions.
* Monitor the enforcement of segmentation policies and ensure services are performing as expected.
* Act as the main point of contact for DIGIT on all SDN service matters, including segmentation.
* Lead the incident, change, and problem management processes related to SDN and segmentation services.
Stakeholder & Vendor/Supplier Management
* Work closely with DIGIT units and other stakeholders to define business-driven segmentation policies and enforce them accordingly.
* Manage relationships with vendors and ensure that micro-segmentation capabilities are properly supported, maintained, and evolved.
* Lead service review and governance meetings focused on SDN and segmentation compliance and maturity.
Service Transition & Continuous Improvement
* Lead the definition of the micro-segmentation service within the SDN catalog.
* Support the integration of SDN micro-segmentation with hybrid and multi-cloud services.
* Identify and implement automation for segmentation rule provisioning and policy lifecycle management.
* Promote micro-segmentation adoption across services and ensure alignment with Zero Trust and security-by-design principles.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Service Management, including specific involvement in SDN and micro-segmentation. They will also possess strong knowledge of network policy models, traffic flows, service chains, and security zoning.
Familiarity with cloud-native networking and hybrid security architecture is highly desirable.
This role requires a proven track record of managing SLA and KPI-driven services, including enforcement and improvement plans.
