Overview
Manager, Warehouse Operations • Benelux Onshore & NCE Offshore (f/m/d) Vestas is the largest renewable energy solutions provider in the world. Vestas NCE is responsible for sales, construction, and servicing of wind projects in Benelux and other European markets. This position supports Onshore and Offshore Warehouses within NCE Service and is indirectly responsible for a multicultural team across the region. The role involves managing multiple warehouse locations, ensuring efficient supply chain operations and reliable delivery of materials to Service Operations. Responsibilities
Oversee multiple warehouse locations to ensure efficient, cost-effective supply chain operations and reliable delivery of materials to service operations. Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities across BNL Onshore and NCE Offshore, maintaining seamless operations. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess warehouse performance. Manage warehouse budgets, optimize resource allocation, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Communicate with Service Operations to identify pain points, synergies, and opportunities for mutual improvements. Manage, coach, and track professional development for a multicultural team in Supply Chain Operations Onshore and Offshore. Make decisions about employment conditions and staffing arrangements. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related areas. Strong soft skills are important; different degrees will be considered. Previous management experience. Transferable skills will be considered. Experience in SAP MMA or other ERP systems. Full fluency in English. Additional languages are highly desirable. Experience with Material Flow, Warehousing Processes, Health & Safety procedures. Competencies
