The company is based in the Brussels region and this is a full-time position (40 hours/week) within a Banking & Finance / Legal & Compliance environment.
Responsibilities of the Legal & Compliance Officer (M/F/X) role:
* drafting, reviewing, and monitoring contracts;
* answering legalquestions from the business;
* providing legaladvice to internal stakeholders;
* supporting compliance activities within a banking and financial context;
* ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations;
* acting as a point of contact for ad hoc legal and compliance queries;
* collaborating with the legal & compliance team on various projects.
Required qualifications for this Legal & Compliance Officer (M/F/X) position:
* 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Legal and/or Compliance;
* perfect English;
German / French / Dutch / Spanish is a plus;
* first experience with contracts is required;
* experience in Banking & Finance is a strong advantage;
* strong interestin legal and compliance topics;
* hands-on mindset, not purely theoretical;
* strong communication skills and ability to express oneself clearly;
