Our Vision is to harvest unique, bioactive compounds from nature to provide consistent & sustainable effective ingredients, allowing our partners in health, nutrition, and cosmetics to improve people’s lives.
Your Mission
As Head of Sales, you combine two critical roles : acting as a hands-on Sales Manager for the Food Specialty Ingredients and Nutraceuticals (food supplements) markets, while driving the company’s overall commercial strategy and leading the sales organization across all markets (Pharma, Cosmetics, etc.).
As a member of the management team, you actively contribute to broader business discussions and decisions, while remaining closely connected to the field and to customers.
You drive profitable and sustainable international commercial growth by developing and managing long-term customer relationships, in line with Natix’s core values of cooperating, agility, joy, reliability, and achieving.
Your Roles
1. Commercial Development & Negotiation
The role combines strategic leadership with strong field involvement. From the outset, you remain highly field-oriented, with direct responsibility for key customer interactions, opportunity development, and deal closing — ensuring deep market insight and commercial credibility.
Co-define and execute the company’s international sales strategy in close collaboration with the CEO and the management team, ensuring alignment across all markets.
Ensure clear prioritization between markets, translate strategy into execution standards, and drive performance follow-up.
Translate company objectives into annual sales budgets and targets, and take ownership of their execution and follow-up.
Manage an existing international business base (≈ €20M) within your direct scope and significantly accelerate growth through new customer acquisition and market expansion.
Identify and prospect new customers globally, converting opportunities into tangible business results.
Build, qualify, and convert a robust new-business pipeline into tangible revenue and long-term accounts.
Negotiate commercial agreements (pricing, volumes, delivery conditions, lead times, and payment terms).
Develop strategic customer partnerships and continuously identify value-creation opportunities (applications, formulations, regulatory constraints, supply continuity) to drive sustainable growth.
Prepare, present, and follow up on offers in close collaboration with the Sales Back Office.
Monitor customer satisfaction and ensure effective after-sales support by orchestrating customer interactions with internal experts (R&D, QA, Regulatory, Operations), and by translating customer feedback into actionable insights.
Build a deep understanding of customer needs, application constraints, regulatory environments, and decision drivers across all markets in which NATIX operates.
Monitor market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and emerging trends to anticipate opportunities and risks.
Gather, structure, and share relevant market intelligence with R&D, Marketing, QA, Regulatory, and Operations to ensure product developments and priorities are aligned with real market demand.
Actively contribute to market structuring, customer segmentation, and opportunity prioritization across business lines, avoiding a purely reactive or order-taking approach.
Translate market and customer insights into actionable recommendations supporting commercial strategy, portfolio positioning, and go-to-market decisions.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a key commercial interface between customers and internal teams (R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Marketing), ensuring alignment on expectations, priorities, and constraints across markets.
Ensure accurate and timely communication of customer requirements, anticipate potential technical, regulatory, or operational challenges, and proactively drive solutions in coordination with the relevant stakeholders.
Build and maintain reliable sales forecasts in close collaboration with production sites, aligning commercial ambitions with production planning, capacity constraints, and supply commitments.
Ensure cross-market consistency in commercial processes, pricing logic, customer communication, and internal handovers.
Contribute to product positioning and support commercial and technical discussions during customer meetings, industry events, and trade fairs when relevant.
4. Team management
Lead, coach, and supervise the sales managers across all NATIX markets within a direct hierarchical reporting line, ensuring alignment with the agreed commercial strategy, clear prioritization between markets, and consistent execution standards.
Drive performance management through clear objectives, regular follow-up, constructive feedback, and development plans, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
Build and maintain a high-performing, collaborative sales culture aligned with Natix’s values of cooperating, agility, joy, reliability, and achieving.
In a matrix role, provide functional leadership to the Sales Back Office, strengthening commercial processes, customer support quality, and coordination across markets.
