We are partnered with a PE-backed Software platform and are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Chief of Staff to drive strategic planning, program management, and operational integration across the business. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and cross-functional alignment, ideal for someone who thrives in complexity, communicates with clarity, and knows how to turn plans into action.
The successful candidate will lead high-impact initiatives including M&A integration, commercial strategy alignment, PMO governance, business transformation efforts, and enterprise-wide program management. You’ll work closely with executive leadership, department heads, and technology teams to ensure that strategic priorities are translated into scalable, efficient, and measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage strategic initiatives that align with company goals; facilitate OKR setting and tracking across business units.
* Own end-to-end integration of new business units, platforms, and capabilities, whether from M&A, new products, or operational restructuring.
* PMO Leadership: Establish and oversee a centralized program management office (PMO) to ensure consistent governance, prioritization, and execution of projects across the portfolio.
* Partner with finance, product, tech, ops, and commercial teams to ensure consistent execution and clear accountability.
* Identify operational gaps and lead the design of streamlined processes and systems to improve scalability, efficiency, and insight.
* Lead communication and training efforts to ensure seamless adoption of new strategies and processes across teams.
* Build dashboards, reporting frameworks, and feedback loops to measure progress, surface insights, and drive continuous improvement.
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, preparing materials and recommendations for board meetings, investor updates, and internal decision-making.
* Define and manage the enterprise project portfolio, ensuring initiatives are aligned to strategy, properly resourced, and delivered on time and within scope.
* Implement program and project management methodologies, tools, and reporting frameworks that drive discipline, transparency, and accountability.
* Identify dependencies, risks, and bottlenecks early; develop mitigation plans and escalate when necessary to keep initiatives on track.
About You
* 5+ years of experience in strategic operations, corporate strategy, consulting, integration, business transformation, or program management roles
* Proven track record of managing cross-functional initiatives in high-growth or complex environments
* Experience standing up or operating within a PMO, with a strong grasp of program/project management best practices
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with comfort navigating ambiguity
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Experience with systems and tools such as ERP, CRM, project management software, and BI platforms
* Ability to manage multiple programs/projects simultaneously and influence without authority
