Application Cloud Architect (Java)
We are looking for an Application Cloud Architect (Java) fluent in English and French to work primarily in Brussels, Belgium. The role may be performed on company premises or at customer sites. The selected candidate will join the Development team and work closely with a major client's IT team both on and off site.
Responsibilities
* Review, analyse, map and document the existing Information Systems Architecture.
* Produce architectural diagrams and blueprints of the current architecture.
* Act as the technical interface between project leaders, developers, and management.
* Assist in testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting.
* Design and develop architecture components and building blocks using cloud services.
Qualifications
* University degree in IT or a related field, combined with at least 13 years of professional experience.
* Excellent knowledge of Java/J2EE and AWS.
* Experience with Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL), MongoDB and its Atlas cloud platform.
* Familiarity with CDI, JPA, Spring (MVC, Container, Scheduler or Quartz Scheduler).
* Good knowledge of JSON/XML, CloudFront and Route53 for CDN configuration.
* Understanding of cloud services and ability to integrate them.
* Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
* Experience with API gateways, custom API management and CodePipeline for CI/CD.
* Knowledge of EC2, ELB, VPCs and Elastic Beanstalk for infrastructure configuration.
* Experience with SQS and SNS for messaging and queuing.
* Knowledge of WAF and Advanced Shield for security.
* Experience with CloudWatch, CloudTrail and X-ray for monitoring and troubleshooting.
* Excellent command of English and French.
