Insurance Policy Administrator Role Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a policy technician/administrator, responsible for the efficient and timely issuance of insurance policies to clients and brokers. As an Insurance Policy Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate creation and maintenance of policy documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create new and renewal insurance policies within our technical policy system, utilizing strong analytical skills to calculate limits, premiums, and deductions.
* Analyze technical data to initiate policy endorsements and certificates, maintaining accurate records and correspondence on our e-filing platform.
* Manage policy documentation with attention to detail, ensuring all relevant information is accurately recorded and up-to-date.
* Communicate policy details effectively to clients and brokers, both verbally and in writing, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Professional experience as a policy technician/administrator or similar, with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex policy coverage and limits, premium calculations, and pro-rata calculations for time on risk.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey policy details clearly and concisely to clients and brokers.
* Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a service-minded attitude and dedication to excellence.
