About the Role
As a Field Clinical Specialist – Electrophysiology you provide technical and clinical support to HCPs in Flanders, Brussels and occasionally in Wallonie, Luxemburg. This involves providing the required pre-sale product demonstrations as well as post-sale installation, training, and customer service activities. In addition, you provide ongoing post-sale customer support including on-site clinical in-servicing and go-live support.
In a nutshell, the FCS will provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training on the effective and safe use of providing clinical case support for procedures within an assigned geography, and in a manner that leads to meeting and exceeding business goals.
The role involves frequent travel throughout Flanders and requires fluent Dutch and English, with French as a welcome plus.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
1. Act as the primary resource for clinical support, assisting physicians during arrhythmia procedures in the electrophysiology lab using our systems.
2. Educate customers on the benefits and proper clinical use of company products by participating in presentations and demonstrations, ensuring they stay informed about the latest BSC technologies.
3. Together with the Account Manager, meet with existing and potential clients (e.g., physicians, hospital groups) to understand their clinical needs and demonstrate how our products can help them achieve their goals.
4. Together with the Account Manager, develop and execute account plans. This takes into account the client's needs, development projects and use of competitive products.
5. Support the Sales Representative in preparing clinical and technical documentation for tenders.
6. Begin building business relationships with hospital personnel through informal interactions, meetings, and participation in conferences.
7. Respond to customer inquiries and complaints by developing creative, feasible solutions in collaboration with internal teams (e.g., sales, clinical, research, marketing, technical support).
8. Clinical Trial Support: Provide technical support for clinical trial activities within the assigned territory.
What We’re Looking For:
9. Fluent Dutch & English speaker, good level of French is a plus.
10. Experience in the operating room and/or with electrophysiology products is a plus
11. Commercial mindset and strong communication skills
12. Team player with empathy and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
13. Eagerness to learn and grow in leadership
14. Willingness to travel and a valid driver’s license
