Internship Position
We are looking for an Intern to join the International Commercial Experiment (ICE) Cubes Service to cover the day-to-day activities of the ICE Cubes Biosciences business development.
The Internship is proposed in the International Commercial Experiment Cubes Service (ICE Cubes) Strategic Business Unit (comprised of 7 persons).
The Intern will mainly report to Principal Scientist R&D.
* Location: Noordwijk, the Netherlands
* Start date: At the earliest
* Duration: 5 to 6 months
Tasks and Responsibilities
The internship will be focused on the day-to-day activities of the ICE Cubes Biosciences business development including:
* Support:
o The implementation of the biosciences / biotech strategy for the ICE Cubes service
o The preparation and execution of biosciences/biotech in space-related marketing campaigns
o Our Marketing & Business Development team with your expert knowledge in biosciences/biotech
* Prepare value proposition material for biosciences/biotech in space
* Follow up biosciences/biotech-related leads and convert leads into opportunities
* Coordinate and participate in promotional events and conferences.
Skills and Experience
* Currently enrolled at a minimum in the third year of Biology / Biosciences, Biotechnology or equivalent
* Interest and possible experience in biosciences / biotech business / R&D applications
* At ease with and interested in technical, scientific, and space topics
* An innovative mind set and pro-active & flexible attitude
* Capability to dive into novel topics about biosciences and space
* Team player with communication skills
* Strength to cope with schedules and deadlines with excellent organisational skills
* Good written and spoken English.
Considered as an asset
* Affinity for science communication
* Familiarity with / knowledge of main trends in biotech and biosciences
