About the Tribe
Customer Onboarding & Interactions Tribe (COI) aims to continuously improve the quality of all services related to onboarding customers for all existing and new Euroclear business products. The Tribe is responsible for all movement related to the associated reference data and corporate packages used to interact with external entities. It manages all communication channels (email, account models, our group CRM solution, and other client-facing systems), product and service catalogue, customer subscriptions, and the My Euroclear portal.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in designing and managing resilient enterprise infrastructures, and who thrives in cross-functional environments. You will act as a key point of coordination between software development teams and infrastructure/security departments, ensuring seamless integration to facilitate on time delivery of key epics of the Tribe.
Key Responsibilities:
 1. Act as the bridge between development teams and infrastructure/security units for new projects, ongoing maintenance, and production support.
 2. Translate software development requirements into clear, actionable infrastructure specifications.
 3. Design infrastructure solutions based on non-functional requirements (., scalability, availability, security) and collaborate with infrastructure teams for implementation.
 4. Lead investigations and troubleshooting efforts for infrastructure and security-related incidents.
 5. Coordinate cross-team activities, managing dependencies, risks, and timelines.
 6. Apply principles of software architecture, resilience patterns, and data replication (synchronous/asynchronous) to infrastructure design.
 7. Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to identify challenges and drive improvements.
 8. Align with Enterprise Design Owners (EDOs) to translate business needs into technical requirements and present them to GTS/CISO stakeholders.
 9. Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Quarterly Planning (QP) demands, ensuring timely execution and follow-up.
 10. Manage incidents, service requests, and changes with urgency and ownership.
 11. Proactively identify and resolve operational impediments.
 12. Support onboarding of new team members, including access and security setup.
 13. Maintain active engagement with GTS/CISO teams, particularly GTS-IES.
 14. Own and follow up on requests to CISO (FU & GRP) with accountability.
 15. Participate in daily and weekly infrastructure-related project follow-ups.
 16. Demonstrate initiative and take on responsibilities beyond the minimum scope.
 17. Build and maintain strong relationships with technical stakeholders across teams.
Required Qualifications:
 18. Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering within enterprise environments.
 19. Proven expertise in managing highly resilient infrastructures.
 20. Hands-on experience with Linux, Windows, and Mainframe systems.
 21. Advanced knowledge of: Middleware and databases (., SQL Server, MongoDB) Virtualization technologies (., VMware, Nutanix) Storage systems and networking Container orchestration (., Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS) DevOps and CI/CD pipelines Security practices (., certificate management, user access control)
 22. Familiarity with ITIL and Agile methodologies.
 23. Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
 24. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
 25. Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build effective cross-functional networks.
