IT Auditor
Are you an experienced IT Auditor looking for a dynamic role in the financial sector? We are seeking a skilled professional to ensure the integrity and efficiency of internal IT systems.
As part of our internal audit team, you will play a key role in assessing governance frameworks, identifying business risks, and enhancing operational processes. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing IT audit assignments, evaluating internal controls, and collaborating with management to strengthen business processes. Additionally, you will contribute to risk awareness initiatives and stay informed about ongoing IT developments within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, plan, and conduct IT audits, evaluating operational processes and internal controls.
* Provide insights and recommendations to improve internal controls and enhance efficiency.
* Collaborate with management to discuss audit findings and risk mitigation strategies.
* Monitor IT developments and ensure the implementation of recommended actions.
* Present audit evaluations and recommendations to senior management and audit committees.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
* Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Science, or a related field.
* At least 5 - 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in the banking or financial sector.
* Knowledge of audit standards and IT applications within financial institutions.
* Certifications such as ISACA, CIA, or CISA are a plus.
* Strong analytical skills, integrity, and the ability to work independently.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills across various departments.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Dutch or French but ideally you speak all three perfectly.
