For an international customer in Limburg, I am searching for a Crisis Manager to work in a supply chain – warehouse context, responsible for restoring order, safety, and compliance within the organization during situations of disruption, non-compliance, or acute operational problems. The role focuses on rapid intervention, structural improvement, and ensuring continuity.
Crisis Analysis & Problem Diagnosis
* Rapidly identify violations, risks, and causes of non-compliance.
* Perform risk analyses and impact assessments.
* Report findings to management or MT.
Enforcement
* Enforce existing rules, safety regulations, and procedures.
* Implement immediate measures to prevent escalation.
* Provide guidance to supervisors and operational staff.
* Respond to violations according to established guidelines and escalation models.
Operational Crisis Management
* Coordinating actions between departments (logistics, HR, safety, planning, production, customer care, etc.).
* Acting as a central point of contact during incidents or structural crises.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
* Clear communication to employees about rules, changes, and measures.
* Reporting to management, supervisors, and relevant stakeholders.
* Conflict mediation and managing resistance within teams.
Structural Improvement
* Establishing or improving compliance processes, controls, and KPIs.
* Evaluating incidents and implementing improvement initiatives.
* Training and coaching employees and managers in compliance and safety awareness.
Profile
* Exposure to supply chain – warehouse environments.
* Background in logistics (and knowledge of associated processes) is preferred
* Strong leadership and intervention skills.
* Stress-resistant, decisive, and clear communication skills.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Decisive and objective enforcement.
* Ability to bring structure to chaotic situations.
