We’re partnering with a leading company in the renewable energy sector, looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to help build intelligent systems that optimize real-time operations and forecasting. You’ll join a dynamic analytics and technology team, and take part in shaping the next generation of data-driven decision‑making tools in the energy market.
You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying ML models that leverage large-scale datasets, including operational data, energy usage metrics, and external sources such as weather feeds and market trends.
Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable machine learning pipelines for real‑time and batch inference.
Build models for predictive maintenance, demand forecasting, energy optimization, and anomaly detection.
Work with Data Engineers to ensure smooth ingestion and preprocessing of data from internal and external APIs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define use cases and measure model performance in production.
Continuously monitor and improve deployed ML models to maintain high performance and reliability.
Support data visualization and reporting teams with ML insights integrated into tools like Grafana or Amazon QuickSight.
Your Profile
Strong experience with AWS, especially in ML‑related services (e.g., SageMaker, Lambda, S3).
Hands‑on expertise in Python and machine learning libraries (e.g., Scikit‑learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow or PyTorch).
Proven experience developing and deploying ML models into production.
Solid understanding of feature engineering, model validation, and MLOps best practices.
Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Interest or background in the energy or commodities sector is a strong advantage.
