We are looking for a Personal Assistant (m/f/d) to the Head of Commercial Benelux, to be based in our office in either Antwerp (Belgium) or Rotterdam (the Netherlands).
Your Team
The Head of Commercial Benelux is responsible for the Integrated Commercial execution, driving the integrated commercial program in a dynamic and global set-up. Our Antwerp and Rotterdam offices are home to numerous teams, including Claims, Underwriting, Risk Engineering, Operations, Accounting, Distribution and HR. You will be part of the Head of Commercial Office, which is being established.
The Impact You Will Have
Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Benelux, you will provide him with an efficient and responsive administrative, organizational, and logistical service, helping to manage and prioritize his time. You will ensure that he can focus on strategic matters by processing delegable tasks. You also participate in important projects where necessary.
Some Of Your Specific Responsibilities Could Include
* Manage diary scheduling across multiple countries and travel arrangements (flights, hotels, taxis, etc)
* Filter emails, highlight urgent correspondence, filter phone calls and invitations
* Be the key point of contact for all direct reports, internal and external stakeholders, enabling efficient and diplomatic relations
* You will arrange meetings, prepare agendas, and provide support by creating presentations and reports
* Contribute to and coordinate ad-hoc projects and initiatives. This can include workshop preparations & drafting minutes, Allianz Engagement Survey (AES) action items, etc.
* Undertake other duties as requested.
What You'll Bring To The Role
* We'd like to find someone with previous senior PA experience in a Financial Services context, with superlative relational skills and impeccable organisational expertise
* Used to handling complex international diary management and travel
* Competent user of Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
* Excellent relational skills at every level of the organisation
* Tact and discretion
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to effectively absorb information from various sources, then analyze, study or examine data in detail, and draw appropriate conclusions
* Well-developed ability to filter information, assess priorities and work independently
* Able to remain calm and focussed under pressure

* Service-minded, resilient and able to find solutions
* Native-level Dutch or Flemish, and impeccable written and spoken English.
* A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential.
