They work closely with end users to deliver practical, high-impact products and are now entering a new phase of development and scaling. This hire will play a key role in shaping that growth.
The Role
The team is looking for a hands-on AI / Computer Vision Engineer to take a leading role in advancing their AI platform.
This is a key position within a small, collaborative team, combining deep technical execution with ownership and strategic input. You will drive the Computer Vision roadmap, work closely with product stakeholders, and ensure successful delivery of solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and train Computer Vision models (primary focus)
* Apply AI solutions to real-world use cases in industrial/enterprise settings
* Build and deploy models using Python in a cloud environment (Azure)
* Contribute to LLM/NLP-related use cases where relevant
* Translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions
* Take ownership of technical decisions and delivery
* Participate in SCRUM processes and collaborate closely with product teams
* Maintain a basic understanding of .NET and Angular (non-expert level)
Requirements
* 3–5 years of experience in AI / Machine Learning
* Strong background in Computer Vision (e.g., CNNs, model training)
* Solid programming skills in Python
* Ability to take ownership and lead from a technical standpoint
* Master’s degree required
* Dutch-speaking (mandatory), with professional English; French is a plus
* Based in Belgium
Nice to Have
* Experience with LLMs / NLP
* Experience with synthetic data generation or 3D-related data
* Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
