As a Construction Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring safety compliance across various construction projects, with a focus on the pharmaceutical sector.
Key responsibilities include:
Actively participating in and leading incident investigationsPreparing and organizing toolbox meetings for contractorsCollaborating with project leaders and construction supervisors to approve constructability plans and manage site setupPerforming preparatory risk analyses for high-risk tasksReviewing submitted safety documents such as method statements and hoisting plans from contractorsConducting daily safety walk-throughs and reporting findings to the project teamEnsuring proper site signageProviding toolbox trainingReviewing permitsEnsuring follow-up on contractor management systems like NineID
Qualifications:
Education Level II prevention advisor certification.Essential VCA-vol trainingAdvanced knowledge of various VG documents (e.g., CIAW, RIAA, Limosa, Dimona, A1), work permits, and other necessary permitsStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as a team player, collaborating with diverse disciplines (Utilities, HVAC, Construction Management Team)Experience in working with contractors, navigating language barriers, negotiation, and conducting conversationsProficiency in Dutch and EnglishA high degree of organization, accuracy, the ability to manage time pressure, and the capacity to escalate issues promptlyExperience with contractor safety requirements and temporary mobile construction sites (TMB), including document review
