Trane in Belgium is hiring a Service Technician to join our team.
What you will do:
* Service products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction
* Use a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
* Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer’s location.
* Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
* Document work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files
* Represent the company by serving as a direct customer contact
* Provide re-training and follow-up training at customer site.
* Determine parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need
* Document work by completing paperwork on each job, including daily time, progress, and duration; and maintaining files.
* Turn in all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
* Keep current on all Trane products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service and repair.
* Read and interpret product specifications and experience in working with building specifications, drawings and designs.
What you will bring:
* Refrigerant Certification
* Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience as a service technician for refrigeration equipment.
* Experience in repair and maintenance of: Centrifugal chillers, Scroll Chillers, Screw chillers, Condensing units, AHU & FCU
* BA4/BA5 Certification
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
* Valid Driver’s License
* Ability to communicate in Dutch (French / English would be an asset)
* Good communication skills and ability to work with clients.
* VCA Certification is plus
