Process Engineer — Dry Forms & Packaging (CSV)

Today, we're looking for a Process Engineer with a strong production mindset to join a team of around 10 process engineers within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in the Brabant wallon area. The role is centred on solid dosage forms — primarily film-coated tablets, blister lines and medical device assembly & packaging — and requires someone who understands both process realities and the IT/automation landscape that supports them.
Your Responsibilities
* Provide hands-on process support to manufacturing units, with a focus on dry forms (tablets, blister lines) and medical device assembly & packaging
* Support the implementation of new equipment, new processes and new products on the shop floor
* Troubleshoot process issues, analyse deviations and drive CAPAs related to process performance
* Act as Process SME on projects — and occasionally as Project Lead for smaller-scope process change controls
* Interface effectively with industrial automation systems — PLCs, DCS, HMIs, data flows — and with IT environments including virtualised systems, networks, cybersecurity, data integrity and access management
* Integrate GxP constraints and CSV requirements into process and equipment activities
* Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Packaging Development and equipment suppliers
* Participate in FATs, equipment reception and on-site testing and trials
* Report regularly to a remote manager — autonomy and proactive communication are essential.
Your Profile
* You have a solid experience in an industrial production environment — pharmaceutical or food industry strongly preferred
* You are hands-on process manufacturing expertise, ideally in packaging, assembly or blister line environments
* You feel comfortable to challenge equipment, define processes and go beyond simply executing qualification and validation tests
* You know industrial automation principles (PLC, DCS, HMI) and able to interact with IT interfaces — without being a pure IT specialist
* Understanding of GxP constraints and Computer System Validation (CSV) activities
* You have 5 years of experience in process manufacturing — or a more junior profile with outstanding soft skills
* Previous interaction with packaging development teams is a plus
* Fluent French is mandatory — daily interactions with local production and quality teams are conducted in French
* Professional English required for suppliers, development teams and documentation.
