Business Analyst
About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Business Analyst to strengthen our team within a fast-evolving insurance environment. In this role, you will operate at the intersection of business, IT, and transformation, contributing to both strategic roadmap initiatives and end-to-end project delivery.
You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, product owners, developers, and architects to analyze business needs, design processes, and drive impactful solutions.
Your Responsibilities
* Analyze business processes and identify improvement opportunities through workshops, interviews, and data analysis
* Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and functional specifications
* Define project scope and contribute to end-to-end (E2E) process design aligned with business and IT strategy
* Support product owners in refining epics and business features
* Collaborate with development teams to design and implement solutions
* Perform impact analyses, support business case creation, and help shape the roadmap
* Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, IT teams, and the transformation office
* Guide execution teams on a functional level during delivery
* Monitor implementation progress and ensure successful outcomes
* Support business acceptance testing (UAT)
* Ensure continuity of critical processes, including financial flows

Required Experience
* 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
* Proven experience in process analysis, requirement gathering, and user story writing
* Experience working in complex IT environments (modern + legacy systems)
* Strong stakeholder management experience
* Experience with process modelling and business feature mapping
* Experience in insurance and/or financial services
* Experience in integration projects within multi-system landscapes
* Familiarity with information modelling and use case documentation
Languages
* Dutch: Fluent / Native level
* English: Good working proficiency

* AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals)
* AZ-204 (Azure Developer Associate)
