Fonction

Following a retirement, our partner Sulzer is looking for a bilingual Dutch-English Account Manager for Flanders.

In this key commercial role, you develop and retain a portfolio of industrial and institutional clients, promoting Sulzer's full range of rotating equipment.

Working directly with the Benelux sales team and in close collaboration with the back-office based in Maastricht, you act as a true field entrepreneur: autonomous, proactive, results-driven.

Concretely, you will:

* Develop and expand your client portfolio in Flanders: nurturing existing relationships while actively prospecting new accounts;
* Meet your sales and order targets through a healthy balance of 50% hunting and 50% farming;
* Provide high-quality technical advice to clients: handling straightforward projects independently, and collaborating with internal engineers on complex cases to ensure the feasibility and relevance of proposed solutions;
* Draft commercial offers, pricing proposals, and contribute to pricing decisions, ensuring consistency and competitiveness;
* Qualify leads in liaison with internal teams and maintain rigorous pipeline tracking via Salesforce;
* Position yourself as the go-to internal contact for your clients: clearly translating their needs to technical and operational teams;
* Participate in internal reviews, product training sessions, and targeted industry events (including the Aquarama trade show in October).

Over time, you will become Sulzer's strategic ambassador in Flanders, covering the full product range and opening new doors for the future.

In practice, this is a field-based role with genuine autonomy and the possibility of working predominantly from home. Depending on where you live, you may travel to Maastricht, where the commercial back-office is located.

Et si c'était vous ?

* You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical or electromechanical engineering and/or a commercial qualification;
* You have 3 to 5 years of experience in sales and/or project management in an industrial environment, ideally in pumps or rotating equipment;
* Bilingual in Dutch and English, you have already managed a client portfolio in Flanders;
* Naturally curious and entrepreneurial, you enjoy working independently while knowing when to rely on your colleagues;
* Your ease in both commercial and technical conversations makes you a credible and appreciated contact;
* You know how to defend a proposal on both technical and commercial grounds;
* You are comfortable with MS Office tools and ideally have experience with a CRM (such as Salesforce);
* Your professional maturity, sense of responsibility, and positive, proactive mindset are qualities that people notice immediately.
