Full‐Stack .NET Developer – Gas Flow Management Platform
Duration: Immediate start; initial 3‐month contract with strong potential for extension
Setup: Freelance (Daily rate / Limited Company / Umbrella / Sole Trader)
Location: Brussels (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Join a cross‐functional, agile team designing and enhancing end‐to‐end digital solutions across the gas flow management lifecycle: customer onboarding, contracting, demand processing, flow planning, network balancing, billing, reporting and B2B messaging. You’ll shape a scalable, robust platform that underpins transmission, storage and terminalling for multiple European TSOs.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop and maintain high‐quality software components using .NET 8/.NET Framework with ASP.NET Web API and WCF
* Translate business requirements in collaboration with product owners and analysts into clean, testable code
* Contribute to architectural discussions around Domain‐Driven Design, Clean Architecture and established design patterns
* Implement and maintain automated tests (xUnit, NUnit) and integrate CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps
* Review peers’ code, mentor junior developers and uphold coding standards
* Support release activities: technical documentation, deployments, incident investigation and live‐environment troubleshooting
* Participate fully in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives and daily stand‐ups
