To support this transition, we are hiring two Software Engineers who will take over, maintain, and further develop the platform internally.


✅The Role

This is not a feature-factory position in a big software team. You will become part of the core technical foundation of Doktr. You will take full ownership of the complete tech stack and own the solution including architecture, infrastructure, frontend and backend.


You will:

* Take ownership of the existing codebase and build deep architectural understanding
* Ensure platform stability, performance, and security
* Develop new features end-to-end
* Design, maintain, and optimize APIs
* Integrate with external services and data sources
* Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term scalability
* Help establish internal engineering standards and best practices


You will work closely with product, marketing and operations and have direct impact on technical direction. You will be a true partner of the business, guiding them in the evolution of the platform.

The platform is built as a modern full-stack TypeScript application. You will be responsible for the whole stack, supported by the team that built the original version on stand-by.

Frontend

Architectural Principles

* Full-stack TypeScript
* Modular architecture
* Testable and maintainable code
* CI/CD pipeline
* Security-by-design
* GDPR-compliant data handling
* Solid understanding of HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, session management, and web application architecture
* Git

While there will be the need to evolve and improve the stack over time, your initial focus will be on mastering, stabilizing, and further strengthening the existing platform.


🧠Who we’re looking for

* Architectural mindset and the ability to oversee the whole solution
* Experience in a small Agile environment
* Strong expertise with JavaScript/TypeScript
* Solid expertise in React
* Experience with Node.js
* Experience building REST and/or GraphQL APIs
* Comfortable working with relational databases (PostgreSQL)
* Proficient with Git and modern build tools
* Strong understanding of web security and application architecture
* Experience working in Agile environments
* Ownership mindset and ability to work autonomously
* Able to benefit from modern AI assisted coding
* Strong focus on end-user needs and experience
* Demonstrate responsibility
* Proactive in identifying and solving problems
* Collaborative team player who enjoys sharing knowledge

Experience in health tech or regulated environments is a plus but not required.
