As a SeniorGraphic Designer, you will:
* Develop engaging digital assets for web and social media, including banners, illustrations, icons, infographics, motion graphics, and interactive elements.
* Design visual content for intranet and internal platforms, ensuring consistency, clarity, and audience engagement.
* Conceptualise and deliver web-optimised infographics by transforming complex data into clear and impactful visual stories.
* Edit and enhance images and photography to meet quality standards and align with brand and design requirements.
* Develop visual identity materials, templates, and design concepts for campaigns and special projects.
* Maintain and uphold graphic standards while ensuring consistency across all visual outputs.
* Provide expert advice on visual communication strategies to improve accessibility and audience engagement.
* Manage digital assets and support content publication, coordination, and basic reporting activities in line with internal processes.
Qualifications
What would make you a fit for the role:
* 9+ years of professional experience in graphic design, supported by a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
* Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign and good knowledge of other Adobe Creative Suite tools.
* Excellent understanding of visual and typographic design principles, ensuring high‑quality, professional design output.
* Familiarity with user‑centred design principles and methodologies to support effective and audience‑focused communication.
* Strong creativity, with the ability to develop innovative visual communication concepts while working within established visual identity guidelines.
* Excellent communication skills in French and English (C1 level in understanding, speaking, and writing), with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff and external contributors.
* Knowledge of EU institutional communication would be considered a strong asset, along with basic understanding of web‑related design processes.
* Ability to work independently with strong ownership, as the role has no direct reporting line and requires delivering results without close supervision.
* Strong organisational, project management, and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing requests, manage multiple projects, and meet strict deadlines.
