Role: Enterprise Solutions ArchitectJob Description and Summary The Enterprise Solutions Architect unites HCLTech Mode 123 next-gen IT Services strategy. As an Enterprise Solutions architect you need to be well versed with Next Generation technologies such as Software Defined Datacenter, Hybrid Cloud, Converged Networks, Cybersecurity, IoT, Digital workplace and other transitional services in the IT infrastructure space. The Enterprise Solutions Architect will:Lead the Steady State operations contract from the architecture governance standpointEngage the client architects and senior stakeholders to work on further account strategies, architecture roadmap and technology/service lifecycle management to support the client’s business change program using next-gen IT services and become a trusted advisor to the client on architectural topics.Engages with clients as part of Pre-sales/ RFP process for validating the architectures and solutions proposed in the solution response by HCLTech Practice teamsProvide support for incremental business growthImplement and run architectural governance to ensure the integrity of the HCLTech services are maintained during change programs, i.e. continue to deliver as contractedThe Enterprise Solutions Architect will have a line reporting to the Head of IT Architecture and functional reporting to the respective client account stakeholders.Key Responsibilities Establish IT Architecture Governance framework, Architecture roadmap including as-is and to-besolution architecture blueprints and technology product lifecycle managementIdentifying new opportunities, build solution architecture, evangelise the technology and adjust thesolution proposal that meets customer requirements. The solutions will be based on next-generationIT solutions spanning one or more of the following areas: Digital Workplace, Software DefinedDatacentre, Converged Networks, CyberSecurity, Unified Communications, Future Mode Operationsincluding Tooling and Infrastructure ServicesWork closely with the Account Directors, Service Delivery Managers, Practice Architects, TechnicalArchitects, project managers from HCLTech and client side. Along with the HCLTech application development team, infrastructure support, suppliers and other domains as required.Ensure that infrastructure solutions make the most efficient use of resources, technical and people, toprovide the best value to both the client and HCLTech.Identify opportunities for operational improvements that improve customer service and createcompetitive advantageHelp resolve issues affecting the infrastructure including performance, processes and service issues.Provide comprehensive technical and procedural advice and guidance to team members, other HCLTechdomains and customers as requiredAttendance at the design and other client forums representing HCLTech.Support the development of new ideas/business case/opportunities into fully fledged solutionproposals during the pre-sales stages. Identify innovative uses of technology that improve customer service and create competitive advantageAdhere to client technology governance and project framework.Help develop innovative uses of technology in conjunction with HCLTech architects and client architects toimprove service and cost-effectivenessBe seen as an agent of change within the organization. Engage with support teams to create energy forchange.Help achieve best practice for client infrastructure to ensure infrastructure, support deliverables andcomponents are consistent with agreed designs and address applicable risk and security considerations.Job Requirement and Skills required:Proven Solution design, architecture and consulting experience that can support converting new opportunities into additional business for HCLTechSolutioning and Presales experience covering multiple technology domainsExperience as an evangelist for driving new technology adoptionAbility to identify, analyze and solve problems logically and effectively, including root-cause analysis and actions to solve the problemAbility to communicate effectively at all levels, including oral, written, presentation and the ability to successfully influence others; o Excellent verbal communication including clarifying scope, requirements and deliverablesExcellent written communication skills including evidence of concise infrastructure design documentationGood stakeholder management skills. Can identify and manage conflicts.Deliverables The Enterprise Solutions Architect will be responsible for the following deliverables in addition to the above responsibilities:Develop as-is and target architecture blueprints and roadmapsManage technology product lifecycle and propose adoption strategyCreate solution presentations and deliver the same to CXO level and other senior stakeholdersEnable and support new business opportunities towards the successful closure of SOW for executionDevelop a High-level overview of the architecture and services being delivered by HCLTech to the clientCreate and maintain the Architecture Decision log as it relates to the HCLTech solutions and servicesImplement and Chair the HCLTech Architecture Review Board to provide internal solution governance for a business changeImplement and Chair a board/committee for Innovation in Solutions and ServicesProduce of 2- 4 innovative solution whitepapers per yearSet-up and run 1 technology day per year with the client and selected HCLTech vendors\partners
