About the Team
SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) is part of the Customer Services & Delivery board area and consists of SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) and Cloud Application Services (CAS). ECS focuses on delivery of managed cloud services (HEC and CAS). The Technical Service Management (TSM) team within ECS supports customers.
Expectations and Tasks
We are looking for an accomplished SAP Technology Senior Consultant to join our SAP Enterprise Cloud Services team as a Technical Service Manager (TSM). You will support our customers with SAP S/4HANA adoption on their path to the Intelligent Enterprise.
Technical Service Managers (TSM) help accelerate cloud transformation journeys and enable business value for customers. Your role will act as a trusted technical advisor, analyze customer requirements, and work with SAP Enterprise Cloud Services and other SAP departments to deliver quality services, resolve technical complexities, and accompany customers throughout their transformation.
Primary contact for customers for discussions about technology and innovations and serve as an escalation point for technical issues.
Understand the customer business, goals, and challenges to suggest solutions & services.
Identify and position offerings by SAP Enterprise Cloud Services that deliver value to the customer.
Offer comprehensive knowledge on SAP S/4HANA architecture, conversion, migration path, methodology and tools.
Understand the SAP high availability or disaster recovery architecture, network, and virtual technologies (load-balancer, virtual machine).
Experience and knowledge in SAP NetWeaver Administration, migration and upgrades.
Identify top issues, define service plan, and drive implementation of identified action items across customer landscapes.
Understanding of various SAP cloud solutions and integration scenarios of SAP systems with SCP, Ariba, SuccessFactors, etc. (good to have).
Design optimal SAP configuration to maximize system performance and availability.
Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Management.
Solid know-how on SAP Technologies and Products (SAP certification highly beneficial).
SAP Basis, OS, DB, and network know-how essential.
Hyperscalers certification (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
Analytical, solution-oriented, and experience in working with cross-cultural teams.
Language Skills
French (optional).
Work Experience
Minimum 7 years of total experience under SAP Technical Administration, preferably in SAP Basis, with knowledge & experience in Administration and Operations of SAP solutions.
Of which, minimum 4 years of experience in customer-facing role and excellent command of de-escalating critical situations.
Hands‑on experience with Unix/Linux flavors.
Hands‑on experience with SAP HANA and Sybase databases.
Ability to work effectively as a virtual member of a dynamic, dispersed team.
Strong background in SAP Solutions, SAP technology and products, and cloud technology.
Ability to coordinate delivery and projects as a team lead in a heterogenous environment.
Experience in Technical Architecture, Implementation, and Change Management.
