Description:
Our end client is the IT operator for the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. A public interest organization, the client's mission is to design, develop, maintain, and evolve information systems and technological infrastructures for the administrations and institutions of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
A central player in the digital transformation of the French-speaking Belgian public sector, our client is involved in various areas such as:
* IT infrastructure management (networks, security, data centers, cloud),
* Development of customized business applications,
* Support for digital projects (functional analysis, UX/UI, project management),
* Cybersecurity and data protection,
* User support and training.
* With a constant focus on innovation, performance, and public service, the client regularly collaborates with external partners to strengthen its teams through IT consulting assignments. These collaborations are conducted within an ethical and professional framework, focused on quality and the concrete impact of the solutions delivered.
Our client is seeking to recruit several testers to strengthen its team.
Expected Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in manual functional testing techniques (regression, exploratory, etc.)
* Identifying and writing test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
* Preparing test case execution (including preparing initial conditions: test data, etc.)
* Executing these test cases manually
* Analyzing and documenting test results, logging bugs, defects, and other failures
* Classifying bugs, tracking bug resolution, and providing bug reporting
* Providing support in resolving identified errors in collaboration with the various teams (business, functional, and development)
* Validating corrections with the business and communicating the results
* Mentoring and guiding team members as needed to ensure successful test execution
* Solid knowledge of Agile principles (Scrum, Kanban)
Mandatory experience with the following tools:
* Defect management: Mantis
* Test management: Xqual
* Automation with Agilitest
* Basic understanding of test environments and deployment processes with GitLab & Docker
* Familiarity with databases and SQL queries

Additional Information:
This position is hybrid, with 50% of the time spent on-site.
