As an Application Engineer, you are technically responsible for the development and implementation of hydraulic drive systems and act as the point of contact for technical questions.
Analyzing customer requests and identifying technical specifications and risks is key to success in this role.
* Designing and configuring hydraulic drive and control systems within schedule and adhering to quality standards.
* Guiding technical projects, from detailed engineering to production.
* Supporting internal and external stakeholders with technical expertise.
Preparation of technical documentation and construction files according to applicable standards is also required.
You will actively contribute ideas for innovations and improvements within drive technology and system design.
A Technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience is necessary for this position.
Strong technical insight and thorough knowledge of hydraulic drive systems and applications are essential.
Understanding of mechanical constructions/mechanics is also required.
Experience with relevant 2D (CAD) drawing and design packages, preferably SAP/PP, is a plus.
Good communication skills and ability to convey technical knowledge effectively.
Hands-on mentality with problem-solving skills is crucial for success in this role.
Flexibility and willingness to support customers on location if necessary.
Fluent language skills: English, Dutch and French is a plus.
