Business & Process Architect

To further support our growth and digitalisation, we are looking for an experienced Business & Process Architect who will take our business processes to the next level.
As a Business & Process Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the future of SECO. You will be responsible for analysing, designing and optimising business processes and information architecture, with the aim of creating a more efficient, standardised, customer-focused and future-proof organisation.
You will work closely with management, the quality manager and the various business units and IT to seamlessly align processes, data flows and systems. Your expertise will contribute to the realisation of our strategic goals, including digitisation, quality improvement and operational efficiency.
Process (Process architecture & Optimalisation)
Analysing, modelling and documenting existing business processes and end-to-end value chains.
Developing future-oriented process architecture based on standardisation, scalability and efficiency.
Optimising process flows and identifying areas for improvement using Lean management techniques.
Organisation (Organisation architecture & Governance)
Describing and optimising roles, responsibilities, teams and organisational structure.
Providing support for change management and guiding teams in new working methods.
Value (Value creation & Business Model)
Translating strategic objectives into clear value propositions and business models for SECO.
Guiding new opportunities for value creation and innovation in collaboration with business units.
Defining the information needs that support processes, applications and business activities.
Identifying data requirements and information flows between systems and teams as the basis for a new data structure and defining the insights we wish to obtain.
Collaborating with IT and data experts to make data consistent, accessible and meaningful.
Advising on information and data standards to support digitisation and process improvement.
Overarching (Architecture & Change)
Developing an integrated architecture framework that connects Value, Process, Organisation and Information.
Advising senior management and management on architecture choices, priorities and transformation roadmaps.
Monitoring and rolling out standards, guidelines and best practices within business and process architecture.
Training & Certification
Master's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent through experience.
Knowledge of process modelling techniques (BPMN, UML) and enterprise architecture methodologies (e.g. At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Business Architect, Process Architect or in a similar role.
Demonstrable experience in aligning business and IT architecture within a complex organisation.
Experience in guiding change management initiatives and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Strong knowledge of process modelling, enterprise architecture and Lean Management.
Ability to translate strategic objectives into operational processes and architecture.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in Dutch and knowledge of French.
Results-oriented professional with a pragmatic approach and an eye for quality.
A stable business environment;
Freelance contract or contract for a definite period of approximately 2 years;
Working from home is possible to a certain extent.
