About the Role
My client is shaping the future of energy across Belgium and Germany. As a Solution Architect within the Consumer Centricity Cluster, you help create modern. scalable. reliable IT solutions that support a greener energy system.
You work closely with business and technical teams. guide architectural decisions. and help modernize a complex application landscape using modern architectural paradigms.
Key Responsibilities
Define solution architectures that can be delivered by cross functional product teams
Document the current and future landscape together with Business. Domain and Solution Architects
Analyse constraints. non functional requirements and business needs to design solid architectures
Decompose business capabilities into Solution Building Blocks following recommended styles and patterns
Align all stakeholders. facilitate decisions. and support Architecture Review Boards (ADR. ATAM)
Provide integration and application designs based on your experience with enterprise. cloud and data architectures
Requirements
Minimum 6 years of experience as a Solution Architect working closely with business and technical stakeholders
Strong experience documenting Business. Application and Data architecture artefacts
Understanding of cross module. end to end processes
Experience with enterprise portal strategies (B2B. B2C)
Knowledge of standards like ArchiMate. TOGAF. ATAM. CBAM
Familiar with Domain Driven Design. microservices. event driven and event streaming architectures
Understanding of Data Architecture concepts (data products. integration patterns. storage and access patterns)
English fluent. plus French or Dutch. German is a plus
Nice to have
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure
• Familiarity with security concepts (OAuth2. OIDC. SAML. SSO+)
• Technical background in .NET. micro frontends. BFF. Blazor. JS/TS. Azure. Kubernetes
• Experience with RabbitMQ. Kafka. SAP S/4HANA. BTP. CPI. Event Mesh
