This hybrid role combines hands-on implementation with security monitoring, investigation, and advisory work. You will be part of a highly skilled, collaborative global team, ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security across our enterprise. The role involves deploying and operating security tools, investigating incidents, identifying vulnerabilities, and advising on security best practices. You report to the Global Network Security Competence Team Lead. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliSecurity Monitoring Incident Response – Monitor global ICT systems for security issues, investigate incidents, document findings, and recommend remediation actions. /liliEngineering Implementation – Deploy, configure, and operate security tools and solutions according to the corporate security roadmap. /liliVulnerability Management – Identify, assess, and address security risks; implement measures to prevent recurrence. /liliCollaboration Advisory – Work closely with the Security Architect and ICT teams to advance security capabilities, integrate new technologies, and ensure alignment with corporate policies. /liliDocumentation Knowledge Sharing – Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, processes, and security procedures; contribute to operational and continuity plans. /liliProject Participation – Lead and/or support security-related projects such as upgrades, tool integrations, and process improvements. /liliContinuous Improvement – Stay informed on evolving security threats, standards, and technologies to enhance detection, response, and prevention capabilities. /liliCross-Functional Support – Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors during incident handling and system upgrades. /liliTravel – Occasional travel (max. a few days per month), mainly within Europe, to support projects and incident response. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3h3Core Requirements /h3ulliBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). /lili3–5 years of experience in network/system administration with at least exposure to information security. /liliGeneral technical background in ICT infrastructure (firewalls, proxies, email security, antivirus, Active Directory, Azure/M365, Windows/Linux OS, virtualization platforms). /liliEntry-level experience in cybersecurity with familiarity in: /liulliSIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management (CTEM), SASE, and security analytics concepts. /liliPowerShell and/or Python scripting. /liliOT network security fundamentals. /li /ulliBasic understanding of risk assessment principles. /li /ulh3Preferred Skills Knowledge /h3ulliStrong analytical ability to consolidate data from multiple sources into clear insights. /liliKnowledge of common security frameworks (NIS2, ISO 27001, NIST). /liliExperience with Tessenderlo Group’s security platforms is a plus: /liulliDarktrace, TrendMicro, Fortinet, … /li /ulliStrong communication skills in Dutch-English or French-English, both written and spoken. /liliTeam-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a multicultural, global context. /li /ulh3Key Competencies /h3ulliStrong problem-solving and investigative mindset. /liliAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams. /liliHigh attention to detail and process discipline. /liliCommitment to continuous learning and staying ahead of emerging threats. /liliCustomer-focused with a high level of professionalism. /li /ulh3Additional Information /h3pYou wish: /pulliA role with responsibilities and a wide variety of activities; /liliParticipate in ambitious challenges; /liliInvest in activities that make sense, in building a better world, because every molecule counts. /li /ulpIn a caring environment, in an agile collaborative mode; /ppThis is what Tessenderlo Group can offer you. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
