Job Title: Field Account Representative
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Field Account Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for positioning us as the preferred supplier of choice for customers in your assigned or new sales territory.
About the Role:
* Sell company products and services to assigned customers in your sales territory.
* Develop and secure new businesses to expand the customer base and increase potential sales.
* Consult with customers to find the best solutions from our portfolio.
* Collaborate with customers' purchasing and engineering departments on projects and designs.
* Develop strong relationships with suppliers to support end-customers' technical and commercial needs.
* Maintain market awareness of competitor activities, industry trends, and new concepts.
* Work closely with internal resources.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Performance: Meet or exceed sales targets by developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
2. New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the customer base and increase sales.
3. Customer Consultation: Provide expert advice to customers on our products and services to help them find the best solutions for their needs.
4. Project Management: Collaborate with customers and internal teams to deliver successful projects and designs.
5. Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a stable supply of products and services.
6. Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and new concepts to stay ahead of the competition.
7. Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to achieve common goals and objectives.
Requirements:
* Several years of sales experience with a solid understanding of the electronic component industry and its products and services.
* Completed professional technical and/or commercial education.
* Strong analytical and sales methodology skills, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.
* Able to work effectively in a team environment, with outstanding communication and presentation skills.
* Exceptional knowledge of our products, services, and value proposition, with a willingness to acquire new knowledge on future focus product areas.
* Good English language skills, as well as good MS Office skills, especially Excel.
* Willingness to travel locally and have a valid Driver's License.
