Project Manager – ERP Implementation
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proven experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate the implementation of a new ERP system across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ERP deployments, business process transformation, and cross-functional project management, with the ability to translate business needs into system requirements, manage stakeholders, and ensure successful system adoption.
The role involves driving ERP implementation from planning through deployment, ensuring that business processes (including supply chain, order management, and inventory management) are effectively integrated into the new system.
Key Responsibilities
ERP Implementation & Project Management
* Lead the end-to-end ERP implementation project, from requirements gathering to go-live and post-implementation support.
* Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, system integrators, and technical teams.
* Ensure alignment between business requirements and ERP system capabilities.
* Monitor project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues impacting delivery.
Business Process Analysis & Optimization
* Analyze current business processes across departments and identify opportunities for optimization through ERP implementation.
* Provide recommendations for future-state business processes and organizational workflows aligned with ERP capabilities.
* Ensure the ERP system supports efficient end-to-end operational processes including order management, procurement, and inventory.
Order & Supply Chain Integration
* Ensure order management and procurement processes are effectively integrated into the ERP system.
* Clarify governance for Purchase Orders (POs), supplier interactions, and internal approval workflows within the ERP platform.
* Work with logistics and operational teams to ensure seamless system integration across supply chain activities.
Inventory & Data Management
* Define ERP-supported inventory management processes to maintain optimal stock levels and ensure data accuracy.
* Collaborate with data teams to ensure clean data migration, master data governance, and data consistency.
* Support the development of data models and structures required for ERP reporting and analytics.
Reporting & Business Intelligence
* Evaluate existing reporting capabilities and define ERP reporting requirements.
* Work with BI teams to integrate ERP data into reporting platforms (Power BI, dashboards, etc.).
* Establish reporting standards, data governance rules, and communication channels for operational insights.
Change Management & User Adoption
* Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of the ERP system.
* Redefine roles, responsibilities, and workflows impacted by the ERP implementation.
* Organize and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder communication.
* Support users during testing phases (UAT) and post-go-live transition.
System Integration & Operating Model
* Coordinate integration between the ERP system and other operational systems (WMS, CRM, finance systems, etc.).
* Evaluate operational scenarios and ensure ERP configuration supports the company's operating model.
* Ensure system scalability and alignment with the company's long-term digital strategy.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
* Proven experience in ERP implementation projects (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
* Strong experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Strong analytical skills with experience in business process mapping and system requirement definition.
* Knowledge of WMS, ERP systems, and BI tools (Power BI, etc.).
* Experience in data migration, data modelling, and reporting frameworks is an asset.
* Ability to lead workshops, training sessions, and cross-functional collaboration.
* Strong organizational, planning, and risk management skills.
* Experience in change management during large system transformations.
