About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing on-site reactive, preventive and predictive maintenance activities in compliance with production schedules and all company policies and procedures.
Main Responsibilities
1. Maintain and repair equipment, instrumentation, systems, electrical devices, circuits, controls, switchgear, and motors used in cGMP and non-GMP areas.
2. Investigate, troubleshoot, and rectify issues related to process equipment, instruments, and systems.
3. Document all maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) using good documentation practices.
4. Collaborate with others to complete tasks associated with the assignment.
5. Provide on-call support as per operational needs.
6. Maintain knowledge of applicable codes and regulations, obtain necessary certifications and training, and adhere to required licensing.
7. Support the implementation of new process equipment, instruments, and systems.
8. Identify opportunities for cost and quality improvement initiatives.
9. Develop and implement modifications or replacements of existing equipment and systems to enhance reliability and reduce maintenance costs and downtime.
10. Suggest innovative solutions to improve business performance.
11. Engage in quality events including Deviations/Investigations, Out of Tolerances (OOTs), Change Controls, CAPAs, Root Cause Analysis, and FMEAs.
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Bio) or any other related field, or equivalent experience.
* A minimum of two (2) years of experience in maintenance, engineering, or operations within an industrial manufacturing or regulated environment.
* Familiarity with technical installations, process equipment, facilities, and computerized systems within an industrial manufacturing or regulated environment.
* Working knowledge of Building Management Systems, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and other components.
* Ability to identify gaps in processes, equipment, facilities, and systems.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
* Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
* Proficient with basic computer software packages and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
* Experience with SAP and CMMS is preferred.
Work Environment
This position requires working in a shift regime, including early, late shifts, and weekends. Proficiency in Dutch and English is required.
