Ace Pharmaceuticals Belgium BV is a subsidiary of Ace Pharmaceuticals BV, headquartered in the Netherlands. Ace is an independent pharmaceutical company with more than 200 employees across Europe.
We develop, manufacture, register and commercialise medicines that address specific and often unmet medical needs. All activities are performed in-house, allowing us to guarantee quality, continuity and flexibility. Our portfolio includes indispensable medicines for small, well-defined patient populations or niche indications.
In addition to registered medicinal products, Ace supports clinical research by producing and distributing investigational medicinal products. As a GMP-certified manufacturer, we also provide pharmaceutical compounding services on behalf of hospital pharmacies. Our production capabilities include tablets and capsules, creams and ointments, as well as aseptic and sterile preparations.

The Role
As Medical Sales Represantative, you play a pivotal role in the further growth and development of Ace Pharmaceuticals Belgium. You engage with healthcare professionals—both prescribers and hospital pharmacists—to inform, advise and inspire them regarding our products and services.
You act as a trusted and knowledgeable discussion partner, leveraging your strong pharmaceutical expertise to position Ace as a high-quality and reliable partner. You understand hospital decision-making processes and procurement cycles and are able to navigate them effectively.
A key aspect of the role is building and maintaining sustainable, long-term relationships with customers, key opinion leaders and strategic partners. Initially, your territory will focus on the Walloon Region.
Your primary stakeholders include hospital pharmacists and specialists such as paediatric haematologists and oncologists, paediatricians, endocrinologists, psychiatrists, and (paediatric) neurologists.
Key Responsibilities
* Presenting and explaining Ace Pharmaceuticals, its products and services to healthcare professionals
* Building and maintaining long-term relationships with key decision-makers within hospitals
* Developing strong relationships with scientific Key Opinion Leaders
* Informing customers about new products, technologies and market developments
* Identifying customer needs and translating them into tailored solutions
* Influencing the full hospital decision-making cycle in a result-oriented manner
* Collecting and analysing relevant market intelligence
* Ensuring accurate and timely administrative reporting
Your Profile
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Scientific background or equivalent pharmaceutical expertise through experience
* 5–10 years of experience in the (hospital) pharmaceutical industry
* Experience with pharmaceutical compounding is a strong asset
* Able to work autonomously within a small, dynamic team
* Strong reporting skills; proficiency in English is required, knowledge of Dutch is an asset
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
