Responsibilities
* Establish and maintain enterprise data governance standards and guidelines related to data quality, semantics, data modelling, and regulatory frameworks for data products.
* Define and support the deployment of data product frameworks and governance guidelines across the organization.
* Translate enterprise data governance standards into clear policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
* Coordinate and manage the rollout and adoption of data governance standards and data product frameworks.
* Act as a change management ambassador, promoting governance standards and best practices across teams.
* Serve as a point of escalation for issues related to data governance, data quality, integrity, protection, interoperability, and compliance.
* Work closely with business, IT, and data stakeholders to improve the overall value and usability of data products.
* Ensure alignment of data governance practices with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
* Contribute actively to the development and execution of the organization’s data management strategy.
Skills
* Strong knowledge of Data Governance principles and frameworks.
* Experience with Data Mesh concepts, including data products, data product contracts, data product specifications, and metadata harvesting.
* Experience working with Enterprise Data Management tools.
* Knowledge of data quality management, data analytics, business intelligence, or data lake environments.
* Familiarity with project management and planning tools.
* Understanding of Agile methodologies (preferred).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to influence teams and drive governance adoption across departments.
* Strong organizational and coordination skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
