Vétérinaires Sans Frontières Belgium (VSF-B) is looking for a Finance & Administration Manager to strengthen the efficiency, quality and strategic alignment of our financial and administrative services. In this role, you will contribute directly to the impact of our programmes in Africa by ensuring robust financial management, supporting decision-making and leading the continuous improvement of our systems and processes across headquarters, regional and country offices.

Strong alignment between financial management and organisational strategy
Reliable, timely and compliant financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders
Efficient financial processes supported by relevant KPIs and tools
Effective coordination across headquarters, regional and country offices
Successful leadership of financial and organisational change processes
A collaborative and high-performing international finance team

Align financial resources with strategic development to ensure organisational agility.
Enhance frameworks for financial management and internal control in line with the procurement policy across the organisation.
Maintain and communicate financial dashboards to stakeholders with accurate analysis and robust consolidation systems.
Optimise financial ressources allocation on donor’s contract and harmonise practices accross the organisation.
Coordinate financial reporting and ensure compliance with institutional donors’ procedures.
Coordinate statutory and donor’s audits.
Maintain financial manuals and procurement policies, ensure compliance with the organisational framework.
Train and coach an effective and collaborative international team.

Master’s degree in Business, Financial Management, Economics, or equivalent experience
~5–8 years of experience in mid or advanced -level Accounting and Financial management.
~ Strong expertise in financial strategy, internal control and performance monitoring
~ Proven experience in leading financial and organisational change
~ Excellent IT and data management skills
~ Full professional proficiency in French
~ Experience in the non-profit or international development sector, preferably in Africa
Knowledge of English and/or Dutch
A full-time, open-ended contract
