To strengthen our operational capabilities, we are looking for a driven Planning Manager to take ownership of our planning process and act as a key interface between customers and our production teams. ERP System and Planning Management: Operate and optimize the ERP planning modules; ensure all planning parameters, material requirements, and capacity constraints are accurately maintained. Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP): Lead the monthly S&OP process, balancing forecasted demand with production capacity and material availability. Detailed Production Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed production schedules based on validated capacity and material supply. Execution Monitoring: Monitor daily production progress, identify deviations, and escalate operational risks to the relevant teams. Customer Communication: Act as the primary customer interface for delivery commitments; manage lead time discussions, inform customers proactively about changes, and uphold customer confidence. Capacity and Bottleneck Reporting: Analyze ERP data to detect capacity issues, material shortages, and logistical risks early; ensure transparent communication to internal stakeholders. Purchasing and Logistics Steering: Through planning outputs, direct and prioritize purchasing and logistics activities ; align material availability with production needs. KPI Management and Reporting: Define, monitor, and report on planning-related KPIs including: Production Schedule Adherence On-Time Delivery (OTD) Lead Time Compliance Material Availability Purchase Order Fulfillment Logistics Performance Use KPI insights to recommend and drive corrective actions where needed. Team Motivation: Motivate and align production and supply chain teams to respect and execute the planning priorities. Continuous Improvement: Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in planning, ERP system usage, S&OP processes, and cross-functional collaboration. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in a planning, scheduling, or supply chain coordination role within a manufacturing or assembly environment. Expert-level proficiency with ERP systems and planning modules; experience setting up or improving ERP processes is a plus. Strong understanding of S&OP, production scheduling, capacity management, purchasing, and logistics principles. Proven experience in managing customer communications regarding deliveries and timelines. Strong leadership skills: ability to motivate and guide operational teams without direct line authority. Analytical, structured, and performance-driven. Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are a strong advantage. A pivotal leadership role within a growing high-technology company.
