About the Role
As a Strategic Market Insights Manager in our Corporate Strategy team, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic vision of Telenet and its ecosystem. Your focus will be to continuously scan, analyze, and interpret market signals and macro trends across telecom and adjacent sectors—such as media, tech, energy, and financial services—both in Belgium and internationally. Your insights will directly inform the company's long-term strategic roadmap, commercial priorities, and investment decisions across all business units.
This role is ideal for a curious, structured thinker with a strong grasp of industry dynamics and the ability to translate complexity into actionable foresight.
What You'll Do
* Conduct deep-dive analysis on market, technology, regulatory, and customer trends shaping the telecom landscape and adjacent sectors in Europe and globally.
* Build strategic foresight models (e.g., scenario planning, market sizing, disruption radar) to guide Telenet's strategic agenda across B2C, B2B, wholesale, and adjacent growth domains.
* Identify early signals of disruption and growth, synthesizing implications for Telenet's strategic positioning and investment priorities.
* Develop and maintain a long-term market intelligence framework to support horizon 2–3 strategy development.
* Collaborate closely with strategy managers, tribe leads, and executive stakeholders to connect external market intelligence with internal strategic choices.
* Prepare thought leadership and executive-ready insights to support senior decision-making.
* Interface with industry Managers, consultancies, and market data providers to ensure best-in-class external insights feed into Telenet's strategy development.
What You Bring
* 3+ years of relevant experience in strategic analysis, market intelligence, or foresight roles—ideally within consulting, a corporate strategy team, or a think tank.
* Strong knowledge of the telecom, media, or adjacent tech ecosystems. Familiarity with European markets and regulatory context is a plus.
* Experience in building and communicating structured market outlooks, disruption scenarios, and strategic frameworks.
* Exceptional analytical and synthesis skills—you can see the signal through the noise.
* Ability to communicate complex topics simply and persuasively to senior stakeholders.
* Self-starter with a structured approach and strong intellectual curiosity.
* Fluency in English required; Dutch is a strong asset.
